Bookavore: E-books article drinking game →
With sincere apologies if this has been done before, but I think this is the only way I can read another one of these. Maybe I might be cranky today!

In which I haven't posted in a while
In an effort to make this blog au courant, I will now post this photograph I found online of Dorothy Wordsworth’s Grasmere Journals. It’s a head clearer, a good voice. The sun came through so clear this morning and it lit up our backyard & our garden. Good day to begin another thing.

(response?)
Thanks, everyone, for your heartfelt and intelligent responses. Very cool. Personally a little surprised to not have more push-back i.e. “you should only be so lucky people give a sh*t about your band” etc. Maybe things are changing; I think musicians should not be so afraid to question youtube, filesharing etc — all the technologies that have made this new era a bizarre (good...
(rant?)
So this thought requires a few more characters than 140, so I’m taking to the blog. I would invite you, gentle reader, casual listener, enthusiast, to for a moment lend me a sympathetic ear.
To be frank: it bums me out from time to time that you just cannot play a new unrecorded song at a show anymore without it being published and released to the world — and likely in the crappiest...

of books and. . .baffles? bunting?
Sorry I’ve been remiss in contributing anything to this blog in a while. I’m much chagrined to see my tumblarity (whatever that is) literally tumbl. But Carson and I just quickly wanted to set the record straight on these books we’re working on.
As you may or may not know, my lovely wife has spent the last several years carving a tidy career for herself out of illustrating...

Ghostwrite My Twit
(On the fence as to whether that title is totally ingenious or downright semi-offensive.)
You want to be my ghostwriter for the day? How about tomorrow?

inf. sum.
I love this book. I love this book in a weird sort of unconditional way. I love this book like it was a strange, moody sibling with whom I share occasional flashes of real connection, but spend most of my time observing in a kind of dazed bewilderment. My engagement with the characters is pretty unprecedented for me; in that: I’m engaged with them, I adore some of them, am ambivalent about...
